Steps:

1. Flip the protective cover open and pull it straight away from the device to release the two clips.

2. To remove the faceplate, locate the tab at the top of the device.
3. Lift the tab upwards with your finger.
4. The tab releases easily. Excessive force is not required.

5. Using a T5 Torx screwdriver, remove the four screws located on the back of the device.
6. With the screws removed, the device is separated into two parts (the empty back cover and the back case holding the main components).

7. Be careful with this step. The motherboard and screen are attached by fragile cables.
8. Slowly lift the motherboard and the screen from the back case.
9. Gently hold the screen back so that you see the cables between it and the motherboard.

10. Detach the screen from the motherboard by carefully pulling up on the three tabs.
11. Be careful. These tabs are fragile.
12. The motherboard and screen separate once the three tabs are released.
13. Recycle the old screen.
