TiVo Series 2 TCD24008A Fan Replacement

Description: This guide will show how to remove the fan.

Steps:

  1. Unscrew the five 0.31 inch T-9 screws on the back cover.

  2. Slide the cover towards the back until it is no longer under the front cover.
    3. Step image
  3. Lift the cover up and off the device.
    4. Step image
  4. Remove power cable to fan from motherboard.
    5. Step image
  5. Remove the four 0.31 inch T-9 screws and gently pull fan out.
