Steps:

  1. Check to see if the printer is on. You can do this by identifying whether or not the bottom button on the right face of the computer is green. If button is green, proceed. If the button is not green, turn the printer on, and then confirm the bottom button is green.

  2. Lift the front panel to gain access to the inside of the computer. Upon opening the front panel, the printer should respond by moving the print cartridge towards the center of the printer.

  3. The ink cartridge should be located in the center of the printer. The cartridge on the left holds the color ink and the cartridge on the right holds the black ink.

  4. Lift both of the teal plastic covers located on top of the cartridges. Next, grab the ledge located on the top of the cartridges, and gently lift both cartridges out of the printer.

  5. Place the new cartridges into printer by removing any packaging and gently pressing the cartridges into their corresponding side of the printer. The color cartridge is to be inserted on the left and the black cartridge is to be inserted on the right.
  6. Finish installing new cartridges by shutting the front panel. The printer should react by moving the cartridges back to the their original resting position.
