Steps:

1. Remove the rear cover from the phone.
2. Remove the battery.

3. Using a small plastic opening tool, remove the lower rear cover.

4. Remove the six screws from the midframe of the device.
5. Be careful not to damage the screws while removing them.

6. Remove the midframe from the phone.

7. Gently pry the back the plastic tabs that secure the motherboard to the case.
8. Slowly work your way around the case with the tabs until the motherboard comes free.
9. Remove the motherboard.
10. The keypad and navigation ball may become loose and fall away from the motherboard.
