Steps:

  1. Locate the face-plate eject button.

  3. Press the eject button with your forefinger.
  4. Remove the face-plate.

  6. Starting on the top side, pop the front panel frame out.
  7. Remove the face-plate frame.

  9. Use the plastic opening tool to pry open the tabs.
  10. Repeat on the opposite side.

  12. Remove the front panel.
  13. Step image
  14. Use the Phillips #0 Screwdriver to remove the four screws.
  15. Step image
  16. Use the plastic opening tool to pry it open.

  18. Lift and remove the motherboard to reveal the inside of the front panel.

  20. Use the plastic opening tool to lift up and remove the cover.
  21. Step image Step image
  22. The buttons are now able to be removed and replaced if damaged or missing.
