Steps:

1. Before disassembling your phone, discharge the battery below 25%. A charged lithium-ion battery can catch fire and/or explode if accidentally punctured.
2. Wedge the plastic opening tool in the seam between the screen and the back cover.
3. Slide the tool around all the edges and remove the screen from the back cover.

4. Unplug the battery connection carefully using the plastic opening tool.

5. Disconnect all the flex cables from the motherboard by prying the connectors straight up.

6. Remove the ten 4 mm Phillips #000 screws securing the motherboard.

7. Remove the motherboard from the device by carefully lifting it out.
