Steps:

  1. Remove all 4 of the 7.0mm screws and the 3 silver, smaller 4.0mm screws inside the cavity of the battery
    2. Step image
  2. Gently lift the plastic panel on the top of the laptop at the divide until the two ribbon cables and cable leads are visible with their ports on left side on laptop.

  3. Gently pull on the 2 ribbon cables until they detach from the computer.
  4. Unplug cables connecting the top keyboard assembly and computer body.
  5. Be careful not to rip the speaker cables.
