Steps:

  1. Lift the glass container of the motor
  2. The motor is the bottom part of the blender
  3. If your blender has recently been used, you may want to clean it before taking it apart

  5. Unscrew the base from the glass container. The right direction is indicated by the red arrow.
  6. The base is the part whereon the blades are attached

  8. Lift metal blades with the metal hood out of the base
  9. Watch out for sharp blades or wear gloves
  10. Large rubber ring may fall out of the base, this is no problem, just put it back in place

  12. Take the cutting blades in one hand and the black, plastic connector part in the other
  13. This is where you could use the gloves
  14. Unscrew the latter together with the screw-nut from the axis by twisting
  15. If necessary, apply a little force to slightly pull it out
  16. To unscrew, you have to twist right. The “righty tighty, lefty loosy-principle” does not apply here

  18. Gently slide off the hood and lower, small metal protective ring from the axis and don’t lose the rubber ring!

  20. Slide the broken ring off the axis
  21. Replace the broken ring for a new one

  23. Slide the remaining parts back on the axis in the following order:
  24. Metal hood
  25. Small metal protective ring
  26. Black plastic connector
  27. Screw back the screw-nut on the thread with the pliers to fasten the assembly
  28. Put the blade-assembly back in the base

  30. Twist the base back onto the glass container
  31. Put the glass container on the stand (bottom part of the blender, containing the motor)
  32. Start making your smoothie!
