Steps:

1. Remove the 9 rubber gripper pads on the back panel of the laptop using tweezers.

2. Unscrew nine 5.8 mm screws by turning a PH1 screwdriver clockwise after inserting it into the screw.
3. Unscrew two 6.8 mm screws by turning a PH1 screwdriver clockwise after inserting it into the screw.

4. Take off the back panel open by sticking the plastic opening tool into the seam of the laptop, and pushing the opening tool downwards.

5. Gently pinch the RAM with your thumb and pointer finger.
6. Pull the RAM out of the logic board with gentle force.
7. Try to keep the RAM parallel as you pull it out, so that the RAM does not chip.
