Steps:

1. Power off your laptop before continuing.
2. Remove the following two 4mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

3. Slide the battery out towards you.

4. Remove the following twelve 4mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

5. Use a spudger to depress the six white clips connecting the plastic cover

6. Run the spudger or a plastic card around the entire laptop to release the rest of the clips.

7. Remove the cover and set to the side.

8. Remove the four 2mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
9. Remove the two 2mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

10. Use a spudger or your fingers to disconnect the fan from the motherboard.
11. Remove the fan and heatsink.
