Steps:

  1. Lay the device down on its side.

  2. Pinch the indents on both sides of the battery.
    3. Step image
  3. Pull the battery out of the drill
  4. Recharge or completely replace the battery
  5. Make sure that the battery is removed before further working on the drill. This is so the drill doesn't accidentally activate.

  6. Unscrew all six 15mm screws with a JIS1 screwdriver bit.

  7. Remove the top of the plastic drill case
    8. Step image
  8. Remove the bottom of the plastic drill case
    9. Step image
  9. Use your tweezers to remove the black wire from the motor
    10. Step image
  10. Use your tweezers to remove the red wire from the motor
    11. Step image
  11. Your trigger switch should now be removed from your motor
    12. Step image
  12. Use your tweezers to remove the red and black wires from the two-pronged plug
    13. Step image
  13. Your trigger switch is now detached from the device
