Steps:

1. Slide the bottom panel in the direction of the arrow on the panel.

2. Pull/lift open the battery cover in the direction directly away from the camera.

3. Push the small gray plastic tab away from the battery in order to release the battery.

4. Pull the battery out of the camera.
