iMac 27" Mid-2011 Broken Display Power Connector Pins Replacement

Steps:

  2. This can be a connector within the iMac or another board for parts. I found an unused connector in my computer.
  3. Apply the soldering iron to the base of the broken pin connected to the circuit board while levering the tweezers behind it pulling it out slowly.
  4. Same as previous step.
  5. Slide the pin in the desired connector until it is firmly seated inside.
  6. Apply pressure to the base of the pin with the tweezers and solder the pin back in place.
