Steps:
- Sand down the damaged area of the trim using the block sanding sponge to make a smooth surface.
- Wipe off the excess dust from sanding with a wash cloth.
- Apply Dap drydex spackling to to the damaged area of the trim using a 1" plastic putty knife.
- Allow the spackling to dry per the directions on the label.
- Use the block sanding sponge to smooth out the surface of the trim to match the crevices of the trim.
- Wipe off the excess dust from sanding with a wash cloth.
- Tape the edges around the damaged area of the trim with masking tape.
- Paint the trim to match the original color.
- Allow the paint to dry before removing the tape.
