Steps:

1. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the four 3mm screws.
2. It may be difficult to reach the bottom two screws; tilt the fan housing straight upwards for easier access.

3. Once the screws are removed, turn the fan back over. Use your hands to pull the front grill cover off.

4. Turn the center nut on the blade shaft clockwise to remove the nut, then remove the blades.
5. The nut is removed by turning clockwise, rather than the normal counterclockwise.
