Steps:

1. Remove the 9 1.2mm phillips head screws off the back of the computer by using a small phillips head screw driver.
2. Start by disconnecting the battery cable/ribbon.

3. Use a plastic opening tool to open the components of the laptop. In order to do this, insert the plastic opening tool in between the two covers then pry open.

4. Once the back is off the device, locate the speakers. Remove the 7 1.2mm phillips head screws holding battery in place. Use a small phillips head screw driver.
5. Disconnect the battery ribbon and remove the battery.

6. Use a long plastic pry tool to remove the speaker from the computer. Note: There is strong adhesive holding the speaker down.

7. Lift current speaker up and follow the wire to the remaining speaker.
8. Repeat previous step to remove second speaker from adhesive.
