Steps:

1. Make sure you spend at least 5 minutes heating up the adhesive. Prying off the glass cover too early can result in cracking the panel.
2. Using a heat gun or hairdryer, apply heat approximately three inches above the glass panel to warm up the adhesive around the outside edge of the phone.
3. Make sure to apply heat evenly across the outside edge of the device.

4. Be careful not to tear the orange ribbon wire when removing the back panel.
5. Using a plastic opening tool, gently pry up a corner of the rear glass panel.
6. Slowly slide the plastic opening tool around the outside of the glass panel to break through the adhesive.
7. Additional plastic opening tools can be used to help separate the back panel from the phone body.
8. Gently lift the back panel off once all the adhesive has been removed.

9. Using a Phillips PH00 screwdriver, remove the silver Phillips 3.5 mm screw circled in red.
10. Using a spudger, gently lift off the small metal tab that was held in place by the screw.
11. Gently pry off the orange ribbon wire on the back panel.

12. Keep the tiny screws on a magnetic pad or a designated area so they will not be lost. There are eighteen screws in total.
13. Using a Phillips PH00 screwdriver, remove the eight silver Phillips 3.5 mm screws circled in red.
14. Using a Phillips PH00 screwdriver, remove the six black Phillips 4.0 mm screws circled in orange.
15. Using a Phillips PH00 screwdriver, remove the single silver 3.0 mm Phillips screw circled in yellow.
16. Using the Phillips PH00 screwdriver tip, gently scratch away the white stickers outlined in green circles to expose hidden screws.
17. Using a Phillips PH00 screwdriver, remove the two black Phillips 4.0 mm screws circled in green.

18. Slowly slide the plastic opening tool around the perimeter of the inner lining.
19. Additional plastic opening tools can be used to help separate the inner lining from the phone body.
20. Gently pull the inner lining up to remove it from the phone body.

21. Holding the phone so that the cameras are at the top, locate the small hole on the top right edge of the device.
22. Using the 0.8 mm Sim Eject tool, push down on the small hole to release the Sim Card tray.
23. Gently pull out the Sim Card tray and set it aside.

24. In the following steps you will disconnect the five connectors circled in red holding the motherboard in place.

25. Gently pull the small ribbon connection between the battery and motherboard upward to disconnect it.
26. Use a spudger to help pry off the connection if necessary.

27. Use a spudger to gently pry off the small antenna cable on the right side of the motherboard.

28. Using a spudger, gently pry up the small connection that holds the motherboard in place.

29. Using a spudger, gently pry up the connector near the left edge of the motherboard.

30. Use a spudger to gently pry off the small connection on the far left edge of the motherboard.

31. Use a spudger to pry up a corner of the motherboard.
32. Lift the motherboard to remove it from the body of the phone.

33. Using a spudger, pry off the small connection between the speaker and phone body located near the bottom of the device circled in red.
34. Gently pry up a corner of the speaker using a spudger.
35. Lift the speaker up and out of the phone body.

36. Avoid using a heat gun for this step as overheating the battery can cause permanent damage.
37. You may use an iOpener on the front side of the phone to safely heat and loosen the adhesive under the battery.
38. Insert the plastic spudger into the gap between the frame and the battery.
39. Move the spudger around the outside edge of the battery to remove the adhesive.
40. Do not bend or puncture the battery. There is a lot of adhesive holding the battery in place, moving the spudger may require some effort. Use the plastic opening tools to help pry each side open.

41. Once all the adhesive has been removed from the battery, use the spudger and plastic opening tools to gently pry the battery away from the frame.

42. Gently pull the ribbon cable that connects the LCD screen away from the phone body.

48. Additional plastic opening tools can be used to help separate the back panel from the phone body.
49. Once all the adhesive has been removed, gently lift the LCD Display off.
