  1. Flip the laptop over. With the battery side facing you, push the latch to the right.
  2. Lift the battery. You're done!

  3. Remove the single tiny Philips screw securing the disc drive.
  4. Slide the disc drive out.

  5. Remove the nine long Philips screws securing the bottom cover.
  6. Remove the three small Philips screws securing the bottom cover.

  7. Flip the laptop right-side-up and open it.
  8. Use a spudger on each of the five keyboard clips.
  9. Lift the keyboard slowly, and then remove the cable from the connector.
  10. Remove the five medium-length Philips screws.

  11. Remove the two screws securing the HDD caddy to the palmrest.
  12. Remove the ZIF cable from the connector.
  13. Lift the caddy.

  14. Remove the four screws securing the HDD to the caddy.
  15. Remove the SATA-to-ZIF connector from the hard drive.
  16. You're done!
