Steps:

1. Make sure you turn off the laptop before starting.
2. Place the flat head screw driver under the key, but over the key clip retainer.

3. Push down on one of the bottom corners of the key, so that the opposite diagonal corner rises and gives leeway.
4. Carefully place the flat head screw driver under the raised corner.
5. Carefully pry up from underneath the raised corner to raise the metal clips away from the key base.

6. Pry up from the top left and right corners of the retainer subsequently.
7. Remove clip retainer.
