Steps:

1. Disconnect all power from the laptop and turn over so the bottom is facing you.
2. Remove the twelve 07.mm Phillips #0 screws from the back cover.
3. Work a plastic opening tool underneath and around the perimeter of the bottom cover.
4. Once unclipped, remove the bottom cover.

5. Remove the two 0.7mm Phillips #00 screws from the battery and unplug the battery from the motherboard.
6. Lift the battery out of the case.

7. Remove the seven 0.7mm Phillips #00 screws securing the fan in place.

8. Unplug fan from motherboard.
9. Lift and remove fan from case.
