Steps:

1. Make sure your laptop is turned off before disassembling.
2. Power off the laptop.
3. Using the metal spudger, gently pry off the black trim around the screen.
4. Metal spudger can be used, but using your hand will prevent the screen and the plastic border from any damage.

5. Remove the six 3 mm Phillips #1 screws holding the screen to the laptop.
6. Ignore the "Do not touch" label on the bottom portion of the screen. It will not damage the laptop.

7. Lower LCD screen onto the keyboard.
8. Find the gold connector on the bottom of the LCD panel.
9. Gently grab the connector on both sides and pull the connector straight out.
10. Connector cable is very fragile. Use the least amount of force possible.
