Steps:

  1. Be sure to power off and unplug your device before you begin the repair.

  2. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws from the RAM cover. Remove the RAM cover.
  3. Remove it at an angle and not straight up so you don't damage the socket.

  4. Using your fingers, pull the metal arms (located on both sides of the RAM stick) slightly away from it.
  5. The RAM will pop up by a few millimeters.
  6. Repeat steps in reverse order to reassemble the computer with new RAM
