Lint filter clogged and blocked
ID: 117296
Description:
Steps:
- Open the access panel to the lint filter and remove it by carefully pulling it to the side.
- Remove the plug from the drain hose and drain the residual water into the bucket or collection tray that needs to be available.
- Check that the spare part sieve fits. Position the drill on one of the crescent-shaped recesses of the lint filter cover and place the hole close to the hole. Once all possible holes have been drilled all around, you can use the drill to cut through the remaining webs between the holes. Use the side of the drill as a cutter.
- It may be sufficient to drill out one side and remove the drilled-out part in order to be able to remove the debris from the sieve.
- Use some sturdy wire to bend a hook with which to remove the blocking material.
- here is the removed material. Now the lint filter can be removed again and replaced with the spare part.
- Attention: In the future, empty all trouser and jacket pockets before washing!
