ID: 118390

Steps:

  1. Using a flat head screwdriver carefully push the gray bar backwards.
  2. Open it like a suite case as there where hinges aligning with the flat underside.
  3. It should pop up fairly easy

  5. The blue line corresponds to how the plastic should align
  6. The red arrow shows where it has broken.
  7. Picture 2 shows the remainer of the plastic speed regulator

  9. There is a diode(black), a safety capacitor(white), another capacitor(blue) and a coil
  10. The white capacitor is an KNB1530 MKP-X2, 0,022uF, rated for 275VAC
  11. Step image
  12. Use kapton tape or some other, thin heat resistent, low friction and electrically isolating tape.
  13. By merging the two broken pieces and putting one piece of tape(I used 8 cm to make sure other parts will hold) on each side of the broken area.
  14. Apologies of no picture of the result.
  15. You can also replace the part with a new one: Part# Bosch 640243 from https://www.bosch-home.com/de/supportdet...
  16. Step image
  17. Make sure the spherical cable holder is in place(obviously not like in the picture)
  18. Use the same methodology as for dissasembly, let all parts stay in the left shell-piece
  19. Align the two shell-parts with an 90-degree at the flat bottom as there where an hinge there
  20. Do not use much force, this proceedure should be smooth, so be paitent
  21. Latsly, push the gray speed-dial area back with a small flat screwdriver to let the last gap dissapear
  22. Step image Step image
  23. I did put it on a heat resistant non flammable surface, set the speed controller to zero.
  24. Plug it out
  25. Repeat the first step but with the speed controller set to something else
  26. Mine spins better than ever! (Or maybe I was just exicted)
