Steps:

1. Flip the Chromebook so that the underside is facing upwards.
2. Follow along the edge with the iFixit opening tool to unhinge the display frame.

3. Flip the Chromebook right side up and open it to form a 180 degree angle.

4. Use the iFixit opening tool to pry open the bezel. Start from the bottom of the screen and work your way around the sides.
5. The bottom edge of the bezel may stick because there is glue holding it together.

6. Use spudger or the iFixit opening tool to remove the bezel.
7. When prying, be careful not to damage or snap bezel. This is made up of very, thin plastic.
8. Pull bezel from the bottom, once all clips are detached.
9. Remove bezel.

10. Remove the four 2mm JIS #000 screws.

11. Use tweezers to pull the tape back and remove the connector attached to the back of the LCD panel.
12. Be cautious when pulling back the tape—the connector/ribbon is fragile and could snap easily.

13. Remove the LCD/display panel from the Chromebook frame.
