Steps:

1. Flip to the back side of your Nvidia Shield Pro Android TV.
2. To open the bottom cover of the Nvidia Shield, start from the corner and slide your plastic opening tool across the gap.
3. If using a plastic opening tool to open the bottom cover is difficult, try using a metal spudger.

4. Remove the five screws with a T6 Torx screwdriver.
5. Two of the screws are located directly on top of the fan/heat sink. The other three screws are located on a small triangle plate on the left side of the fan/heat sink.

6. Once the screws are removed, gently detach the multi-colored wired connection from the motherboard.

7. Gently remove the fan/heat sink out of the Nvidia Shield.
