Steps:

1. Flip the laptop over so the back panel is facing upwards.
2. Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove seventeen 2.5mm screws.
3. Remove the back panel from the laptop using an iFixit opening tool.

4. Unplug the cable that connects to the fan to motherboard.

5. Remove the two Phillips #0 screws that secure the fan to the base.
6. Remove the fan from the laptop.
