Steps:

1. Before you begin, make sure the engine is switched off and cool to the touch.
2. Pull the spark plug connector straight off of the spark plug.

3. Use a 1/8 inch hex key to loosen the set screw securing the main shaft adapter.

4. Use a 1/4 inch hex key to remove the bolt securing the main shaft adapter to the main shaft.

5. Remove the main shaft adapter.

6. Use a set of snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring over the main shaft seal.
7. Before you continue, make sure the main shaft is facing upright. If it isn't, oil may leak out when you remove the seals.

8. Use a seal puller to pry out the first main shaft seal.
9. Remove the first main shaft seal.

10. Use a seal puller to pry out the second main shaft seal.
11. Remove the second main shaft seal.
