Steps:

  1. Put the passenger seat all the way back to create as much room as possible.
  2. Remove any objects from the floor of the passenger seat so that you have a clean workspace.

  4. Remove the panel on the right side of the trunk to expose the battery.
  5. Twist the knob to unlatch the door so that you can remove it.

  7. Use a 10mm socket wrench to loosen the bolt and remove the negative battery terminal.
  8. Then tuck it to the right side and wrap it in a rag.
  9. This prevents the circuit from being accidentally completed while you continue working.

  11. Remove the two T20 Torx screws located below the glove box.
  12. One is located all the way on the right and the other one is located all the way on the left.
  13. The panel will drop down as the screws are removed. Pull the panel away slightly.
  14. Careful not to let it drop all the way down as a wire is connected to the footwell light.
  15. Disconnect the black cable for the footwell light.

  17. There is only one connecter that needs to be disconnected to remove the blower motor. This connector is black with two red/orange wires going into it.
  18. Pinch the connector on the top and bottom and pull it out to remove it.

  20. Pull down on the tab towards the front of the car and at the same time turn the whole assembly clockwise.
  21. Pull the round black assembly out from the vehicle.
  22. This is the blower motor assembly!
  23. When pulling the blower motor out, be careful not to drop it on yourself.
