Steps:

1. Make sure the filter is turned off!
2. Unplug the filter.

3. Remove the filter lid by pushing it up with both hands.

4. Pull the old filter cartridge out of the filter.
5. Dispose of it in the garbage afterwards.

6. Rinse the new filter cartridge with cold water.
7. Cold water removes dust in the filter cartridge.

8. Insert the filter cartridge replacement into the filter slot.

9. Pour water into the filter using a small bucket of water.
10. At least half a bucket of water is sufficient.

11. Put the lid back on.
12. Ensure a click sound is made to secure the lid.

13. Plug in the filter.
