  1. Dampen a microfiber cloth with water.
  2. Use the cloth to clean the screen of dust and debris.

  5. Dampen a separate microfiber cloth with Listerine or white vinegar.

  7. Wipe the screen with the damp vinegar/Listerine cloth in a circular motion.
  8. Make sure you have gloves on during this step as the anti-reflective coating on the MacBook screen releases chemicals that could be absorbed through the skin.

  10. You may have to wipe the screen a second time as some stains can be stubborn.
  11. Apply more Listerine or white vinegar onto the cloth as needed.
  12. Remember to keep your gloves on.

  15. Wipe the screen free of debris with the cloth.
  16. You can remove your gloves at this step.
