Steps:

1. Place the two pieces of the hair clip together.
2. The circles on the top of the clip should align.

3. Tie the rubber band around the hair clip to secure the pieces in place.

4. Insert the pin halfway into the circles on the top of the clip.

5. Place the spring next to the inserted pin with the two edges facing upwards.

6. Use the pliers to push the pin through the spring and remaining holes.

7. Take the rubber band off and test the repair.
