ID: 146857
Description: In this guide, I will show how to repair broken...
Steps:
- You will need superglue and glass grit with a grain size of 0.05 to 0.5 mm.
- Glass grit has the advantage of being alkaline, which causes the superglue to cure quickly.
- If you want to speed up curing, use an activator.
- Locate the broken area and ensure it is free of dust, dirt, and grease.
- Apply a small amount of superglue to the break.
- Sprinkle glass grit onto the adhesive and wait for it to cure. If necessary, spray a little activator to accelerate the curing process.
- Reapply adhesive.
- Sprinkle more glass grit. Alternate applying glue, glass grit, and activator until the desired layer thickness is reached.
- Once the desired layer thickness has been reached and cured, the part can be put under load.
