Steps:

1. Flip to the back cover of the laptop.
2. Remove the 1 cm Phillips #00 screws on the back cover.
3. Use pry tools to remove the back cover.

4. Take out your Phillips #00 screwdriver.
5. Remove the 1 cm screws of the battery. There are two of screws, one is on the left of the battery and the other is on the right. (circled in red).

6. Unplug the battery from the motherboard by pulling the bundled cable connector free.
7. Lift the top part of battery.
8. Slide the battery forward to remove it completely from the motherboard.

9. Lift white tab holding connector.
10. Pull from blue tab to disconnect.

11. Unscrew and remove the four 1 cm Phillips #00 screws under transparent cover.

12. Unscrew and remove the two 1 cm Phillips #00 screws that secure the touchpad bracket.
13. Lift bracket to remove from touchpad.

14. Remove the tape securing the touchpad to the shell.

15. Lift and remove touchpad.
