Bosch AL 1860 CV Faulty Resistor Replacement

Steps:

1. Remove the AC plug

2. Open the charger (remove 4 Philips screws)

3. Localize resistor R3

4. Detach the circuit board from the housing (4 plastic tabs)
5. Caution: Capacitor (150uF/400V) may still be charged!!!
6. Obtain new 220k Ohm 2W resistor

7. Resistor R3 needs to be desoldered

8. Solder resistor R3 in place
