Steps:

1. On the underside of the device, slide the battery lock on the right-hand side towards the right.
2. Slide the lock on the left-hand side to the left and hold it there.

3. Keeping the left and right locks disengaged, pull the battery outwards in the direction of the screen hinge.

4. Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver (or comparatively small screwdriver), remove both screws from the drive/ram bay cover.

5. Pull downwards on the cover- this may require a fair amount of force.

6. Using the same screwdriver from before, unscrew each of the 4 screws holding the drive cage in place.
7. Take care not to drop the screws inside the machine, as this could damage components.

8. Slide the drive cage to the left to disconnect the drive from the device.

9. Using the black pull tab, pull the drive cage up and out of the device.

10. Using the same screwdriver from earlier, unscrew the 4 screws holding the drive in the cage
11. Slide the drive out of the cage
