Steps:

  1. Turn the laptop over so its underside is facing upwards and visible.
    2. Step image
  2. Once you flip the laptop over, make sure the right tab is pushed upwards to unlock it.
  3. Use your left hand to push up the left tab to release the battery.

  4. After the battery is released, locate the small gap where the battery and the shell meet. Then lift the gap up and rotate the battery up and away from yourself.

  5. Pull the battery away.

  6. Unscrew the single 3mm screw to remove the RAM panel.
    7. Step image
  7. Use both hands to unlock the clips that are securing the RAM.
  8. The RAM will pop out from the slot when release the clip. After unlocking, slide out the RAM from their slots.
  9. When inserting new RAM do not forget the put the clips back on.
