Steps:
- First step Unscrew five Torx
- Lever out the lid in three steps with a small jerk.
- Then you can lever off the entire upper part of the suction cup. Another Torx will appear underneath.
- The two gray buttons have to be levered up.
- There are two torxes underneath.
- Now you can pull off the switching element. The white plug connection to the motor is also interrupted.
- Pictures of the circuit board with the type designation.
- When the cover is removed, the control element can also be put back on for test purposes. But attention because of the free contacts!!!
- Simply lift the motor out and pull off the cable.
- The aluminum cover can be pried off. To do this, proceed evenly all around so that the cover does not become wedged.
- Now you can reach the nut for the fan wheel. CAUTION: Left-hand thread. Hold the fan wheel with a cut-resistant glove and open the nut clockwise.
- Remove washer.
- Unscrew four Torx again and lift off the white plastic cover. When doing this, the motor armature with its ball bearing may get stuck. This can be loosened with a light tap with the screwdriver handle.
- The open motor with the two carbon brushes and the triac.
- The triac can be pulled off.
- The motor brushes can be pulled off upwards.
- In the opened box you can see the triac with a thermal fuse. The whole component is available as a spare part.
- The carbon brushes for this motor have the designation M33 and the dimensions 6 x 11 x 35 mm.
- Finally, the number of the installed motor.
