Steps:

1. Make sure your laptop is powered down and completely closed before proceeding.
2. Turn your laptop upside down. The stickers should be facing up.

3. To open the bottom compartment, put one finger underneath the laptop and firmly grab the compartment with your thumb.
4. You can also use both thumbs for more pressure.
5. Carefully slide the bottom compartment with your thumb until you feel it pop out of place.

6. On the sides of the hard drive, you will see two side tabs. This is what holds the hard drive in place.
7. Place your finger on the left tab and press on it to loosen the hard drive.
8. After the hard drive is loose, slide it out of the compartment.
9. Do not remove your finger from the side tab while removing the hard drive.

10. You have successfully removed the hard drive from the laptop.
