Steps:

  1. 10 screws hold the bottom cover in place -- these stay in the bottom cover.
  2. Step image
  3. Using a spudger will make quick work of this step.

  5. Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.
  6. Remove the 4 screws holding it in place
  7. Battery can now be removed from device.

  11. 2 screws total
  12. Board can now be removed

  14. Use a plastic prying tool to remove the CMOS battery
