Steps:

  1. Using measuring tape, measure the dimensions of the hole to approximate how much material is needed.

  3. Using the dimensions gathered from the previous step, cut the fabric to size leaving some excess material.
  4. You can use fabric from other gloves that are still intact to repair the glove in need.

  6. Draw an approximate shape of the hole on the fabric as a guide for stitching using a marking tool that will show up on fabric.

  8. Thread a needle with enough thread for the size of the hole you are repairing.
  9. A sewing machine can be used instead of hand sewing if you would prefer.

  11. Apply the adhesive to the perimeter of the hole.

  13. Position the material on the glove to completely cover the hole leaving a bit of overlap.
  14. Allow the adhesive time to dry so that the material is firmly stuck to the glove.

  16. Reinforce replacement material to the palm through hand stitching.
  17. To hand stitch, push the needle through the front of the fabric and pull the thread through. Do the same from the inside of the glove. Continue to weave in and out creating stitches that are as close together as possible.
