Steps:

1. Turn over your Lighted Poker so the back is facing upwards.

2. Remove the six silver 6 mm screws with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
3. Do not unscrew the centerpiece. It is for the batteries.

4. Open the device slowly without breaking or tearing the wires.
5. Remove the three black 7 mm self-sealing screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

6. Gently remove both the button and hook piece.
7. Remove the damaged or old spring with a new 10 mm long and 8 mm to 3 mm radius spring.
8. Apply a small portion of grease lubricant on the button and hook piece to run smoother.
