Steps:

1. Turn off your multimeter.
2. Disconnect the probes from your multimeter.

3. Use your fingers to pull and loosen the cover lip out of its groove along the right edge of the multimeter.
4. Pry and loosen the cover from the bottom right corner of the multimeter.

5. Repeat the procedure to loosen the cover from the left edge of the multimeter.

6. Pull the bottom of the cover away from the multimeter to loosen it.

7. Grasp the sides of the cover near the top to hold it in place.
8. Grasp the bottom edge of the multimeter and pull it out at a shallow angle to remove it from the cover.
9. During reassembly, follow this guide to properly clip the cover back in place.

10. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four 9.6 mm‑long case screws.

11. Grasp the front and back halves of the multimeter and pull to separate the two halves.

12. Use a spudger or your fingers to pry the fuse out of its holder.
13. Remove the fuse.
