2011 Kia Sorento Windshield Wipers Replacement
ID: 164840
Description: Are the windshield wipers on your 2011 Kia...
Steps:
- Pull up both front wiper blade arms from the windshield.
- They should be pointed up and will stay without being held in place.
- Take the driver's side wiper blade and pull it in a downward motion, releasing it from the wiper arm. Do the same for the passenger's side wiper blade.
- Sometimes these joints can rust, especially if it has been a while since the last wiper blade replacement. If this is the case, just use a bit more force and it should release no problem.
- Take the new driver's side wiper blade (24 inch wiper blade) and push it up onto the wiper arm joint. Do the same for the passenger's side wiper blade (20 inch wiper blade).
- Different brands of wiper blades have slight differences in their attachment mechanisms, so if you have any issues, be sure to check the instructions on your new wiper blade's packaging.
- Now that you have successfully installed the replacement wiper blades for the front windshield, gently push the wiper blade arms back down onto the windshield.
- Pull up the rear windshield wiper from the windshield like you did for the front wipers.
- It should be pointed towards you and stay in that position on its own.
- Twist the wiper blade to have the actual blade piece face you, then pull it from the wiper arm.
- Take your new rear wiper blade (11 inch wiper blade), and push it onto the wiper arm and rotate it back to face the windshield.
- Once you have ensured that the wiper blade is fully attached, push the wiper arm back onto the windshield.
