Steps:

1. Park the car on a level surface.
2. Turn off the car and put on the emergency break for extra safety.

3. Lift the hood release on the drivers side seat, near the foot pedals.
4. Open the hood latch and lift the hood up until it stays open on its own.
5. The headlight socket is located along inside edge of the hood.

6. At the rear of the headlight assembly, rotate the bulb in a counterclockwise direction to detach it from the socket.
7. Release the clips on both sides and take it out from the wiring harness.
8. Insert the new bulb into the harness. You will know it is complete when you feel the clips attaching.
9. Don't touch the bulb with your bare hands. The oils and salt from your hands will reduce the life of the bulb and possibly damage it.

10. Align the tabs on the socket with the opening on the back to reinstall it.
11. Turn the socket clockwise to secure it.

12. Close the hood.
13. Test out your new lights.
14. To view the lights better, test them out at night.
