Steps:

1. Press the [2ndF] button.
2. Then press [ON/C][Off] button marked in orange to turn off the calculator.

3. Flip the calculator over so the backside is facing up.
4. Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove two 5 mm screws located at the top of the calculator.

5. Lift the small cover up and pull it off.

6. Use a nylon or plastic spudger to gently pry the old battery out of the socket.
7. Avoid using a metal spudger or screwdriver to remove the battery. Using metal tools on batteries and other delicate components is dangerous and could result in damage to either the components or the device.

8. Gently put in the new battery.

9. Close the small cover and replace the two 5 mm Phillips #0 screws.
10. Make sure to tighten both screws equally.

11. Turn the calculator over and test all the functions.
