Steps:

  1. Remove any weights or other items from the weight holders. Also, make sure there is nothing on the bike seat itself.

  3. Make note of the seat depth setting on the seat slider & seat rails so it can be set back on those settings when we install the replacement seat.
  4. Take a close up picture similar to the one shown here, and once we put the new seat in place, look back at the picture and align the new seat to the position shown in the original image.

  6. Use the 13mm wrench to loosen one or both of the seat nuts until the seat is removed.
  7. The nuts themselves do not come off! Simply loosen them until the seat can be gently wiggled off of the seat slider.

  9. Using the 3mm allen wrench, remove the 4 weight holder screws, and remove the weight holder itself. There are 2 screws on each side of the weight holder.

  11. Open the latch on the seat slider, but do not slide it off yet.

  13. Remove the screw and washer from the seat post end with the 3mm allen wrench.
  14. Do this by gently unscrewing the screw from inside the washer, and then removing both once it is loose enough to gently pull out of the socket.

  16. Slide the seat slider off of the seat post and slide on the new seat slider in its place. Do not close the latch just yet!

  18. Re-install the screw and washer onto the seat post end with the 3mm allen wrench, then close the latch on the seat slider.
  19. You may slide the seat slider into whatever position you desire. Just remember that you can always adjust the position of it after the full replacement is complete.

  21. Re-install the weight holder and its associated screws with the 3mm allen wrench.

  23. Finally, install the replacement seat and nuts with the 13mm wrench, aligning with the previously noted depth settings.
  24. Remember to double check that the seat itself is not loose or wobbly, make sure it is stern and securely in place to prevent injuries when sitting on it.
