Steps:

1. This manual applies to 4000 series shavers, for example model "4740" here. It was also used for a "SmartControl Classic" model.

2. The housing is held together by two screws next to the charging port, which are covered by colored caps.
3. The caps are held in place only by friction. Remove them by lifting, for example with a fine needle.

4. Remove the screws with a Torx T-10 screwdriver.
5. The screws are not metric flange screws with a wide head. Thread 2.38 mm, flange 2.9 mm. Each flange has a red O-ring for sealing the "washable" housing. In the picture, one of the O-rings has remained in the housing, one is on the screw.
6. Be careful not to lose the O-rings and to reinsert them during reassembly, otherwise the housing will no longer be washable.

7. Grasp the shaving head and the housing and pull the shaving head with the internals out of the housing. Some force is required, but no VIOLENCE. Only friction needs to be overcome, no catches, pawls, or similar.
