2006-2013 Lexus IS 250 Low Beam Headlight Bulb Replacement

Steps:

1. Pull the hood release in the lower left of the driver's side of your car.
2. Lift the hood of your car until it stays up on its own.

3. Use any size flathead screwdriver to remove the screw plugs that are holding down the engine cover.

4. Remove the bottom engine cover.

5. Use a 1/4" flathead screwdriver to remove the screw holding down the top engine cover.

6. Remove the side engine cover.

7. Use a 10 mm wrench to remove the washer fluid tube.

8. Locate the headlight bulb's cover.

9. Push the metal bar down to release the cover.

10. Remove the bulb cover.

11. Twist the headlight bulb cap counterclockwise (1/4 turn) to detach.

12. Push the metal clips inward to release the headlight bulb.
13. Pull the bull out of the socket.

14. Insert the new headlight bulb.
15. Make sure not to touch the glass part with your hands. This can cause a hot spot on the bulb, making it burn out faster. Use gloves to avoid oil and salt transfer to the bulb.
