Steps:

1. Remove the six 10 mm screws from the back of the unit using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

2. Carefully lift up the top panel.
3. There is a cables that must be disconnected before completely removing the panel.
4. Detach the cable connecting the top panel to the motherboard.
5. Take the top off and set it to the side.

6. Carefully detach the cable from the fan to the circuit board by pulling on the cable connecting the fan to the circuit board.

7. Remove both 10 mm screws from the fan using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

8. Remove the fan from the Blu-ray player.
